We have often heard about the Iglu saunas produced by Estonians, where celebrities like David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, and Guy Ritchie love to relax. However, not much has been said about where and how the specially crafted sauna benches, on which these world stars sit, are made. This story was brought to participants by the Business Week 2023 team along with hosts Mart ja Britt Normet.

The leader of Company  Kase Factory juht Meelis Rull, shared the fascinating story of creating the factory and the community support they received.

The wood company operates in Karksi-Nuia, and although there are many manufacturing companies in the area, this team does something special.

Awarded the title of Best Small Business, the manufacturing company was formerly known as Kase Furniture. Last year, the company stopped making furniture and now focuses on curved design flooring, and it is now called Kase Factory.

Wave design flooring is the most expensive product in the flooring world. Each board of ash or oak parquet has a unique appearance, like puzzle pieces, so customers are given precise assembly instructions. These boards are technically complex to produce and fit only the specific room they are made for.

Technically, Kase Factory has reached the highest level in the field. The work behind it requires mastery and patience. CEO Meelis Rull has plenty of energy and ideas, constantly creating new wood brands. Meelis Rull’s desire to create something special for the community and future generations overcomes all obstacles that come their way. Watch the inspiring story in the video.

Business Week is coordinated by the Network of County Development Centers and is carried out with the support of the European Regional Development Fund.

Entrepreneurs from various fields shared their experiences of changing course:
● Ain Süld (Korilane)
● Mihkel Heinmets (iiUmekk Resto & Külalistemaja)
● Terje Rattur (Karukella Puhkemaja)
● Paap Uspenski (I Land Sound Elamusfestival)
● Meelis Rull (Kase Factory)
● Urmas Johanson (Restoran Tikupoiss)

The speakers were interviewed by hosts Mart ja Britt Normet.
